TRAC/Open-End Lease: Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) or open-end leases generally offer lower monthly payments than basic finance options, as well as a lower initial out-of-pocket expense, and there are typically no mileage restrictions. TRAC leases can offer tax advantages; consult your tax advisor for specific tax implications.
FMV/Closed-End Lease: A Fair Market Value (FMV) or closed-end/walk-away lease allows you to complete the terms of your lease with no further obligations; however, some mileage restrictions and maintenance charges my apply. FMV leases can offer tax advantages; consult your tax advisor for specific tax implications.
